Spruce Cabin

Spruce Cabin is our most secluded cabin. Perched on a wooded hill, its broad screen porch offers spectacular views of the valley. It is set up with a king size bed (or two twins), and will easily accommodate a cot for an extra person. With a writing desk and a comfy chair alongside the wood stove, it is a lovely retreat.

Moose Cabin

Moose Cabin stands at the edge of the cluster of cabins, firmly in the path of the herd of horses as they come in for the day’s work. Set up with a king or two twins, plus an additional daybed, there is space for four with the addition of a cot. There is a seating area around the wood stove. The writing desk offers a gorgeous view of Sportsman’s Ridge and the Gros Ventre River as it winds across the valley, and the front porch lets you keep an eye on the main meadow.

Deer Cabin

Deer Cabin is set on the banks of Kinky Creek and feels a world away.  Its porch looks out over the babbling creek to the east, with a perfect view of the grazing horses; cozy chairs by the wood stove are a perfect reading spot. It has a queen bed and a twin, and there is room for a cot.

Sheep Cabin

Sheep Cabin is the Darwin homesteading cabin, built in 1895. Its adjoining private bath is connected to the cabin by a deck. The cabin is set up with two twins or a king, and is perfect for a single, as a second cabin for a family, or as a cozy space for two. At 9’x11’, it is small and quite charming. It has a small wood stove and a bureau, and a deck out front that faces the main meadow.

Elk and Pronghorn Rooms

The Elk Lodge was recently renovated and now has four individual rooms under one roof. The two rooms that face north, toward the Main Lodge, are Elk Creek and Elk Meadow, which share a large screen porch, and must be booked together. Each room has a king or two twins, a writing desk, a wood stove, and an en-suite bath, and sleeps two. Family of five? We can add a cot on the porch.

The Pronghorn Rooms, facing south, are Pronghorn Creek and Pronghorn Meadow; each has either a king bed or two twins, a wood stove, an en-suite bath, and a small private corner entry porch with a table and chairs.  Each room sleeps two.

Willow Room

The Willow Room opens onto the main meadow, and has a queen bed and a sunny front deck, and an en-suite bath. There is room for a portable crib.
